Come one come all! La Tuna is hosting our first ever Music Festival! Supporting local artists, Local@LaTuna is happening Friday the 28th of September starting at 5pm-close and Saturday the 29th starting at 12pm-close. Bands include: Pochos Chidos, The Dropouts, The Infidels, Dylan Tanner, Niko, I Ching Gatos, Soulace, and Cinderleaf! Texas Heritage Music Day, which was once known as Texas Heritage Living History Day, uses melodies and storytelling to educate the masses about the state’s history. The event features over 50 entertainers, which includes everything from Texan singers to Native American storytellers. Along with the educational entertainment, the festival will serve food and drinks. Celebrate the music of Jimmie Rodgers with music, living history, storytelling, Western heritage exhibits, chuck wagons, teepees and hands-on learning about Texas culture.
